Data Center Certified Associate Exam Development Path

The Associate certification indicates a foundational knowledge of critical physical infrastructure in the Data Center. Associates demonstrate a base level proficiency in the elements of: cooling, power, racks, cabling, fire protection, management and physical security. Associates possess the basic knowledge necessary to participate on a team that designs or upgrades the physical layer of the Data Center. In an effort to provide the industry with standards for measuring competency in the core elements of a data center, Energy University is proud to offer the Associate level certification, a global standard for foundational knowledge in data center design, build and operations.


This development path is created to guide you through the preparation and course requirements necessary to prepare for the Data Center Certified Associate exam. Secure Power Systems for Industry & Infrastructure

Secure Power Systems for Industry & Infrastructure is defined as power protection and cooling for business critical equipment and applications that are located outside of the traditional IT or Data Center space. Examples include manufacturing plant floors, water treatment plants, marine vessels, oil & gas rigs and airports.

Cette plate-forme e-learning, appelée Energy University et développée en partenariat avec Schneider Electric, a été conçue pour tous les employés Rexel. Il s’agit d’un ensemble de cours de formation en ligne couvrant 4 niveaux, des « principes de base » à « l’expert » tous axés sur l’efficacité énergétique. Ces modules permettront d’améliorer vos connaissances tant sur les produits que les services à valeur ajoutée comme l’audit et le financement.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities® Energy Leadership path is a course of study designed for Organizational Leaders. This learning path provides RMHC leaders with a basic understanding of energy systems that will enable them to make informed energy related decisions and confidently operate within a strategic approach to energy use in support of RMHC energy efficiency goals.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities® Facilities Management Certification path is a course of study designed for House Program Managers, Operations Directors and Facility Managers. This certificate path provides RMHC program facility management leaders with an in-depth understanding of energy systems. Successful completion will equip them to make informed energy related decisions and confidently operate within a strategic and informed approach to energy use in support of RMHC energy efficiency goals .The Facilities Management Certification path represents the first step toward achieving Professional Energy Manager certification. Additional courses are required to complete certification. In support of professional development activities, RMHC Global covers examination fees for local Chapter and program staff. The Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Professional Energy Manager (PEM) path includes the remaining courses of study that will prepare facility managers for PEM certification. The PEM exam is part of the Energy Management Diploma Program provided by North Carolina State University in the United States and is among one of the longest running energy education programs in the world. SELECT Energy Efficiency Awareness Path
SELECT, is the Trade Association for the Electrical Contracting Industry in Scotland. Members carry out a wide range of design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning work and each is accredited to one or more of ten technical disciplines. Member companies account for around 90% of all electrical installation work carried out in Scotland. The Energy Efficiency Awareness Development Path comprises of a range of modules that will provide electricians with an introduction to the concepts that form the basis of energy efficiency. These online courses will provide electricians with knowledge that will allow them to provide guidance and practical support to their customers in relation to approaches to becoming more energy efficient. These courses are the first that are offered in partnership with Schneider Electric and SELECT. To complete this Energy Efficiency Awareness Development Path, students complete the four mandatory units and a minimum of two of the four optional units. More Info Information
Starwood Engineering Leaders
The Starwood Engineering Leaders learning path is designed to provide engineering leaders with information to drive energy efficiency strategies in support of Starwood’s commitment to sustainability and its 30/20 by 2020 goals. These courses will enable you to find energy efficiency opportunities, understand costs and express the financial benefits associated with energy management. These are the recommended courses for property engineering leaders; however, you are welcome to explore additional courses within the Energy University Site.
